Description:
INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE, although ADVANCED BEGINNERS will be able to get something from this lesson. A PDF tab sheet focused on a series of ten different endings to 12-bar blues songs, worked through at regular and slow speed by Adam Gussow of Satan and Adam. Some of these are Gussow's own adaptations of classic cadences; others are drawn from recordings by Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, Big Walter Horton, Nat Riddles, Jason Ricci, and Gussow himself.
Technical challenges include lots of tricky timing, a fair bit of tongue blocking, and 2, 3, and 4 draw bends.
Harp keys: C (4 or 5 of the endings), A, B-flat, and D.
Note: a QuickTime video tutorial is also available for $5.
