Bianca Merkley began singing when she was very young and always had a love for music. She first started to play guitar and write her own music when she was only 15. Inspired by love, pain, sorrow, joy, gratitude, peace, jealousy and all of what the experiences of life brought her, Bianca found that music was an outlet for her that was satisfying and uplifting.

When she first began to play and sing, Bianca was playing on the streets in Park City on a cold night when a man who was passing by stopped to listen to her music. After she finished her song, he told her that she had helped him to forget all of his problems in that moment.

Even if it was only for the three minutes that the song lasted, Bianca felt even more inspired to share her music with others in hope that it would have the same result. This and other experiences have led her to this point of recording her debut album, Promise.
