Lizzy has been involved in the world of professional music since the age of 12, performing with the world music group âExplicit Noiseâ, and went on to study classical composition at Providence College in Rhode Island. There she further developed her characteristically dynamic and integrative style of writing. While playing around local venues in Providence she realized that it was time to search for a more serious folk scene where she could blossom as a professional singer-songwriter. She found herself in Ithaca New York where she recorded and released her debut album âDrawing Trianglesâ. Selling out local venues and generating a whole new queer-oriented anti-folk scene in Ithaca New York has carried her back into the studio to finish her second album and begin conceptualizing her third album which will incorporate more electronica production and house style beats.
