This South Carolina vocal group's new release, "The Time's Right Now" is written and produced by its very own members. This group of five men (Al, Bo, Donnie, Marlon and Melvin) have been singing together for over 14 years. This union has AGAIN created a wonderfully blessed musical CD that will revive your inner health and state of mind. With hits like "Praise With Me", "Holy Ghost Party" and "I'll Praise You", NPhase is showing you how to rejoice, praise and party all at the same time. They continue with their vocal barrage with songs like, "U Changed Me" and "He Will Make A Way", illustrating that no matter where you are in life, and no matter what you are dealing withâ¦even when you feel there is no way out...BOOM! - God shows you that he has been there all the while. Nphase continues to show their vocal talent on their acapella hit, "Where You Are" by allowing the melodic sounds to caress your ears.

Nphase first came on the scene in 1994 with their self-titled album, âNPhaseâ featuring the single, "Spend the Night"which was written and produced by R. Kelly â one of the top urban artists of the '90s and today! â Their attractive sound was best described as LeVert meets Boyz II Men. Although this debut album was more than promising, NPhase never followed up with a second album. This was regrettable because one hears a lot of potential on the romantic slow jams like "Don't Hold Back," and the above-mentioned "Spend the Night." The album had one foot in hip-hop and the other in classic soul. Their harmonies owe a lot to male vocal groups like the O'Jays and the Dramatics, which one of the best songs on the disc was the cover of the Manhattans' 1976 smash "Kiss and Say Goodbye" (which Maverick, label owned by Madonna, released as a single). A remake of the Commodores' "Jesus Is Loveâ is also on the album which was the groupâs first professional display of their gospel talents. The group admits African-American gospel was, and is, a major influence on soul music. â Arguably, gospel is the R in R&B â and it was nice to see NPhase acknowledges this in their music. At any rate, the NPhase R&B album is a pleasing footnote in the history of '90s.

They are continuing this gospel connection with their 2007 release of "The Time's Right Now"!! This album collaborates both old generation and new generation music that is so soothing, it will be received by all that listen. NPhase invites you into their perspective of gospel soul music. The album is Hot! So hot they could not keep it to themselves.
