A special collection of popular standards as well as classical crossover compositions awaits the listener on this album. A rich and soulful blend of piano with instrumentals and percussion brings to life some of the best-loved songs. Four new compositions ranging from classical piano solo to ragtime brass highlight the remainder of the album.

In arranging, composing, and performing the tracks on this album, Iâve thoroughly enjoyed exploring the acoustic power of the Roland Fantom X-8 Workstation. Full-sounding, subtle instrumentals â winds, strings, guitar, brass, and percussion â accompany most of the songs in various combinations, but Iâve made an effort to keep the piano the central focus.

Since music is an expression of the rhythms present in our personal and spiritual lives, I thought it fitting in naming this album to draw a parallel with that which in our natural world mirrors the human experience. It is my pleasure to present to you Ivory Seasons.
