Hailing from Birmingham in the UK, Redline are instilled with traditional hard rock values and a background of motorcycle culture which gives their music its distinctive character... raw, direct, riff-laden songs delivering a powerful mix of melody & aggression. Redlineâs âKing of the Mountain,â released when the band formed in 2006, has already been adopted as the unofficial anthem for The Isle of Man TT Road Races achieving âAâ list radio plays and a high profile on the rock club circuit. The limited edition EP sold well via HMV and Redlineâs own website.

This year âNo Limitsâ taken from Redlineâs forthcoming debut album âIgnitionâ, has been rewarded with an enthusiastic response from rock & bike fans alike, gaining wide airplay at the 60,000 strong TT Centenary celebrations.

Redline have appeared at a number of festivals this year including The UK National Ink & Iron Custom Show, MotorCycle News/Kerrang Live Festival and The Hard Rock Hell Winter Ball. Redline are booking more dates to promote âIgnitionâ and are actively seeking additional distribution/licensing opportunities in order to reach a wide a market as possible.

Drummer Mark Biddiscombe was previously with Metal band CHAINSAW who released the EP âPolice & Politiciansâ on Square Records. Bass player Martin Orum from Welsh rockers WITHERED MAN later joined CHAINSAW and both Mark and Martin were subsequently drafted in by NWOBHM band BITCHES SIN to provide the rythmn section for âPredatorâ, the album released by Paul Birchâs Heavy Metal Records. Seeking a change of direction Mark and Martin sought the talents of Guitarist Adrian Yeomans (aka A.D.) and Paul Bridgewater from SLOWBURNER, to form AOR band TAPANZEE, whoâs music was hailed by BBCâs Tommy Vance as ...âRock of exeptional quality!â An album, âTourniquetâ was recorded at Muff Murfinâs Old Smithy Studios in Kempsey, but never released.

Liam has been involved in many projects, as both session vocalist and independently as a vocalist in his own right. "Idol Rich" released the EP "Working Girls" featuring both Liam's vocals & his co writing talents alongside guitarists Tim Jones and Nick Burr. Later Liam was the writing force & vocalist behind the band "Love & War". Winning the BBC's Friday Rock show gaining acclaim from the show's Tommy Vance & great
reviews from Rock press icons Metal Hammer & Metal Forces.

Following Love and War Liam took some time out to pursue other writing & recording projects looking all the while for "just the right" band before taking up the post of vocalist for REDLINE in January 2007 when work started on writing the debut album.

Recording âIgnitionâ began in March 2007 at Mark Stuartâs MadHat Studios in Coven and scheduled to finish in May due to his touring commitments with Magnum. The final mix was handled by accomplished producer Sheena Sear. REDLINE opened their account in 2006 with the EP âKing Of The Mountainâ released on their own Antarctic Records label. The success of the title track has led to the debut album âIgnitionâ, with Liam Doherty taking over the vocal duties from Paul Bridgewater.

Redline tour with full backline that includes Engl and Ampeg amplification, Jaydee Custom & Vigier Guitars, Line 6 effects, Capelle Turbo Drums, Paiste Cymbals, DW pedals and Roland TD20 VDrums. Redline are currently arranging gigs to promote âIgnitionâ and writing new material for the second album.
