Stemming from archived experimental tracks started by Sean Andrews, Red Roses Black has quickly flourished into a whirlwind project. With the support of five time Juno award winner and Grammy nominee Alan Frew of Glass Tiger, Sean set out on a mission to find "the band" that would help progress the music and vision.

Sean Andrews:

The creative force behind Red Roses Back, Sean is the charismatic front-man who challenges the limits of his craft. Sean is the genuine triple threat. His innovative songwriting brushes upon his influences, yet he never wanders from the original. Possessing a vocal versatility that ranges from rough and grungy to epic and emotive, his engaging singing perfectly matches the characteristics of the band and their unique sound. Finally, Seanâs natural ability to command the stage and engage the audience solidifies him as one of Torontoâs up and coming front-men.

Alex Marr:

An emotionally driven drummer, Alex brings more than just beats to the mix. With an affinity towards electronic/industrial Alex's musical talent runs in the family with his brother, Will Marr, guitarist of IllScarlett. Possessing a strong aptitude and appreciation for the music industry, Alexâs past experiences are an invaluable asset to the band.

Andrew Downs:

Always dressed for the occasion, Andrew is an Elton John/Axl Rose inspired pianist navigating his way through the band's many divergent sounds. Marrying classical piano to hard pumping electric-synths, Andrew envisions a sonic wall and atmospheric arcadia that brings the Red Roses Black sound full circle.

Justin Bussoli:

Brash, vibrant and born to perform, Justin's smooth guitar licks and charismatic stage presence are some of the band's greatest assets. With the prowess of Daniel Johns, the swagger of Slash, and the vibe of Tom Morello, the "JBus" is his own animal; a man who lives for his audience.

Adam Guiducci:

Melodic yet thumping, Adam's bass not only completes the tonal landscape for Red Roses Black, but is the band's very cornerstone. His unparalleled energy for the music is the driving force behind Red Roses Black. With poise, purpose and a polished charisma, Adam's live stage presence challenges the convention of what a bass player can be.
