Tim Russ has been working within the entertainment industry for the past thirty years. His talents encompass a wide spectrum of the performing arts including composing, music (guitar & vocals), writing, directing, voice-over and producing. Mr. Russ received his B.S. in Theater at St. Edwardâs University Austin TX, and completed one year of post graduate work in theater at Illinois State University.

As an actor, Mr. Russ has worked in a cross section of films and television. His film credits include; âLive Free or Die Hard,â âThe âOâ In Ohio,â âStar Trek: Generations,â âThe Cabinet of Dr. Caligari,â series regular roles on âThe Highwayman,â âThe People Next Door,â âStar Trek: Voyagerâ and ABCâs âSam I Am.â He has also appeared in numerous stage plays including the Los Angeles premier of âDreamgirls.â

Tim has performed as a musician for over twenty-seven years, playing bass, acoustic and lead guitars well as solo vocals. His musical talents are showcased on a self-titled, Crescendo Records pop music CD, a follow up release entitled, âKushangaza,â and a recent release entitled, âBrave New World.â

As a writer/producer Mr. Russ currently shared the helm in the production of the feature, âEast of Hope Street,â which won âBest Feature Filmâ, and âBest Actressâ on the festival circuit, and was released theatrically in the U.S. He was the recipient of the Sony Innovatorâs Award for a commercial he produced entitled, âThe Zone.â

Mr. Russ has also entered the TV/Film directing arena with credits including,
âOf Gods and Men,â âStar Trek: Voyager,â âThe FBI Files,â âPsychic Witness,â âRoddenberry on Patrolâ and the feature film, âOf Gods and Men.â

Tim has expanded his performing talents to include voice-over. His recent V.O. credits include; âHotwire.com,â 6 audio books, and the video game, âLA Law.â Most recently, Mr. Russ has also co-produced a musical childrenâs audio book project entitled, âBugsters,â which won the National Parenting Award, and will be featured on the playlist for the Fisher Price Mp3. âBugstersâ will also be published in 2007 as a hard cover book with Woods Nâ Water Press.
