As Christmas draws near-I remember as a child asking my Mother what she wanted for Christmas- thinking just maybe I could surprise her and fulfill that wish..Well to my surprise it wasn't what I expected to hear, but now that I look back and realize after having children of my own, that what she asked for was the greatest gift that her children of-at the time seven total and three more came later-could give her..She said very softly "no fighting-just peace-and get along-if only on Chriatmas Day" I thought that's a strange gift but, I do think we were a little better than usual on Christmas day..As I think back to that day it keeps tugging at my heart to share that same message with the world...Could you image if for only "one day"Christmas Day..the people of the earth- stop fighting and made a real effort to get along-how wonderful that would be..My Christmas mission is to spread the word of "PEACE ON CHRISTMAS DAY"-tell your families- your friends-all those you meet and let Love-Joy-and Peace be the greatest gift that you give on Christmas Day-and to the world my greatest desire is-Let all Nations agree- on one day of Peace-Oh, Holy Day-No war cry to be heard-All around the world- Let the children play- this Christmas Day--and let it begin with me...Blessings to all and help me spread the word-PEACE ON CHRISTMAS DAY...Peace on the earth-Peace in each heart-Peace on Christmas Day...annie mae ..cottage grove or.2007
