Details:
Driver was formed by Paul Barnes in 1997 along with drummer Tim Kelly, Bass player 'two bellies' Nige and Guitarist David Tutcher.

Driver played many gigs in the East Yorkshire area and further a field including the Newcastle Green Festival and Night and Day in Manchester. They also appeared on Student Radio and Festival FM, their seven track mini album receiving warm reviews in particular the Hull Daily Mail who called it 'very special indeed.' Paul Barnes and David Tutcher moved to London in 2000 and carried on the Driver name around the acoustic music scene."

Paul Barnes and Tim Kelly have written and performed music since they were 14. Previous bands include Noddy Biro from 94-97 who were immensely popular in the area then Driver from 97-2000. Driver played many gigs out of the area including Newcastle Green Festival and Night and Day in Manchester. Tim Kelly also played in successful Bristol band Feverfew. Both returned to Hull in 2002 to set up the music label and using their experience to help promote local artists and music in the area.

Stu is a regular on the acoustic night scene around Hull and can often be found at the Polar Bear or the Tap and Spile on their respective nights. Working with numerous local artists has made Stu a well known name on the local music scene. He recently finished his first 4 track solo album.
