These tunes were written about real places in the mountains of North Carolina, where I grew up. My parents would take a Sunday drive into a different part of the mountains, a trip I always looked forward to. Some of these tunes are of places my Dad and I would go trout fishing and the tales that accompany any fishing trip. It is with these thoughts in mind that I dedicate this first in a series of Doctor Johnny Feelgood compilations to my parents, John & Mary, ( Thanks for the music lessons! ), my wife Mary, my son Tyler, my daughters Makenzy & Reagan, for all their love, support, encouragement, and understanding, I am truly a blessed man.
