In our culture words such as great, amazing, and worldclass are thrown around haphazardly in conversation to describe what most would agree to be terrible, not so good, and even mediocre. Dr. Mike looked to raise the bar. Formed in August 2004, Dr. Mike has been an influence in underground circuits throughout the country. They were described by one writer as, "... ahead of their time," and "... better than what's out there." Such accolades are not important to the band.
