GeorgeLife Bio
George (MySpace.com/George15) has been making music ever since he learned to play guitar at the age of 12 He was in rock bands
that performed in front ofhis Jr. High and High Schools. "Music is my life" he says speaking of his 13 years of experience. "I was never
afraid to get on stage, to this date I've done upwards of 500 live performances."His influences range from Jimi Hendrix to Nirvana to
Rage Against the Machine to Tupac, and boasts that his music IS different and DOES cross genres, while all based in Hip Hop.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, George has traveled and toured the west coast making friends and associates in every state along the
way. His most recent project, "Bomb City" (MySpace.com/BombCityLive), was known for mixing their hip hop vocals with live
instrumentation rock and roll music produced by the legendary Mark Kendall (Great White), who also played guitar for Bomb City.
Bomb City received great acclaim and praise for their positive album "GRIND (2007)" (press included). Before that, George was part
of a hip hop/r&b male/female duo called "One-Five" (MySpace.com/OneFive), with his best friend and singer/songwriter Ayisha.
Together they accepted praise and press for speaking out on the issues of politics and working with youth (press included).
George is known for recording his own albums, making his own music videos, booking his own tours, contacting the press himself,
selling thousands of albums PERSONALLY out of his own hand, and he is known locally and regionally for getting things done
and not taking "no" for an answer. George also founded UtahHipHop.com to help other artists be able to get their music heard and
to get LIVE performances under their belt. He also gave many artists their first opportunity to be on a professionally recorded,
packaged, and distributed album when he created the compilation album "UtahHipHop.com - Pioneerzz" (press included) putting
16 of Utah's greatest artists on one album.
Now George just turned 25 and is focused on his first solo album in five years entitled "GeorgeLife" (www.GeorgeLife.com)...
"It's a way of life..." he says speaking out against politicians and speaking up for the common man. "You can preview the album
and hear songs cut from the album on GeorgeLife.com." George is also working on the second UtahHipHop.com compilation album
"Pioneerzz 2" (due out in January 2008), the first official "One-Five" album (due out in August 2008), and working on the follow up
"Bomb City" album to GRIND (due out in June 2008). "2008 is a big year for me, I'm not nervous, I'm extremely excited!" He continues
to work with the youth running his own sports camp at the Jewish Community Center in Salt Lake City turning down numerous
promotions to focus on his ultimate dreams. He also is now Assistant Film Editor at BlackHawk Entertainment (a satellite
company of BCII) doing post-production for film with his main focus on a live television show called Stage Sessions which
features musical acts live. "Film is another passion of mine, I plan on directing my own movie someday soon, and anyone who knows me
will tell you that when I say I'm gonna do something, I DO IT!" He plans to continue following his dream until he dies, "Success is not a
destination, but a journey. Lao Tzu said that, right?" , he laughs.
After 13 years in this business, it has been proven that George is a one-man army, a force to be reckoned with... and positively a name
that you will be hearing more of, and he's coming to a city near you!
Although confident with his own independent success, George would love to hear from and talk with anyone willing to
listen to his story. Contact him at 801.230.2759 or UtahHipHop@gmail.com
