Henry Love is no novice in the entertainment world. He began his career as a dancer and conga player for the Darlene Blackburn African-American Dance Troupe. He later became associated with Curtis Mayfield and The Impressions as a dancer-percussionist.

In Los Angeles, he was associated with Earth, Wind & Fire and Marvin Gaye; taught dancing to many noted stars and established a dance school. He has also been associated the Muhammad Ali and sang with Patti Labelle at the Gershwin Theater in New York. In Chicago, Henry Love established himself as an entertainer at the Park West when he received critical acclaim for a show he produced and in which he performed. In addition he also worked with R. Kelly on the number one billboard hit â Steppin In The Name Of Love.

With RCAâS recording attraction New Birth, he served as percussionist and writer. He participated in recording sessions with Ike and Tina Turner, and taught Randy Jackson of the Jackson Family how to play the congas.

In New York City, Love was encouraged to sing jazz and was often featured at The Village and other entertainment spots in the Big Apple. He has also written the music and screenplay for a movie titled âBlack Chinaâ

Loveâs greatest asset is his rich and magnificent voice. He sings with the poise and assurance of seasoned vocalists. His bold and seamless voice is fluent and smooth. As one listens to his performance on tape, the lyrical voice reminds one of Billy Eckstine, Vic Damone and Johnny Hartmartman. The potential for Love to reach superstar status if fantastic.
