Details:
Duke Graham is steadily carving out a niche with his own brand of Low-Country Mood Rock. He was born and raised in Florida, studied music in San Diego, and moved to L.A. in 1998. What is apparent from your first listen is his dedication to the craft of songwriting. He's a consummate pro who's studied and played in bands from jazz to punk and everything between. Eventually his own style emerged which is honest, soothing, and addictive. Lyrically, Duke sports a wry eye on life's experiences, but its one which everyone can relate to in the end. From the first notes of his albums, the listener is taken for a ride through a unique musical and emotional landscape of music that is intriguing and ultimately satisfying.

Duke Graham's second album documents his growth as a songwriter, singer, and person. Eleven songs span a wide range of musical and emotional material that is soothing and satisfying. The addition of Andre P. Holmes on bass completes a solid rhythm section with Michael Erpino on drums, and the sound is a bit more dynamic than the first album, Who Cares. Produced by Matt Gruber, this album has a different character than the first, but the songwriting style and mood prevail.
