Details:
NUMBerâs music would be considered completely original if no music had ever been written before. The bandâs influence is the soundtrack of the world around us: a combination of loud punk, acoustic ballad, sonic soundscapes awash with subliminal input and a stupid sense of pop, blended with bluegrass and pure noise. In other words, the bastard stepchild of Brian Wilson, Wayne Coyne and Kim Gordon. With Phil Spector as the Godfather.
NUMBer is:
Rich Feinstein: Guitars, vocals, keyboards, Drums
Anne Feinstein: Bass, vocals

From Gods of Music:
âNUMBer characterizes themselves as a cross between Weezer and Sonic Youth. The Weezer simple punk guitar, affection for retro/high-school themes, and repetitive melodies (altho at the beginning our vocalist sounds a bit more like the guy from the Swirlies) is evidence in âSong for the Left Handed,â a charitable multi-meaning ballad for a oft-neglected minority groupâ¦â¦We all know that the majority of music listeners out there are listening to this category. If NUMBer persists, they have what it takes for local stardom, and as much as shot as anyone can at the big-time, if thatâs what they want.â
