Hi. I'm a singer-songwriter from Norfolk, England, and have been writing songs for half my life. 'Travelling Back' is my first full length CD, and was recorded in my studio, a converted riding stables on the edge of a lovely Norfolk forest. This was a real labour of love for me, and I spent many nights recording in the hush of the forest, gazing out at the night sky as I listened with excitement to the CD coming together.

My influences are all the great singer-songwriters from the 60s and early 70s;James Taylor, Nick Drake, Neil Young, John Martyn etc. etc. I'm also a published poet, and so I tend to think about my lyrics quite a bit, and experiment with different vocal techniques. Writing songs is something I have no choice over. I do it because it makes sense of my world, and I believe music has the power to reach us in a way that no other art form is able to do. Somehow music reaches just that bit deeper, and like birds singing, I believe music is something inherent in the human gene.
