SongVault FM wrote: We want to congratulate you in having your songs âJUST CANâT FACE THE TRUTHâ and "HURT'N ON OLD MEMORIES" placed in the SongVault Directory and in our play list on the SongVault Radio Network.
This is quite an accomplishment and something you should be proud of, considering that your song has been up against hundreds of other songs and has passed through the tiered stations. This is not the end of the journey but just the beginning!
Gerry Taylor wrote: This CD will appeal to nearly all Nashville-era music lovers. Steve's lyric writing is on par with almost anything coming out of Music City these days.
Atlantic Musician wrote: Firstly, your CD is very good. I've listened to it to and from work the first couple of days and must admit I'm a little jealous of how tight it is. Indeed your songs "Just Cant Face the Truth" and "Hurtn' On Old Memories" are winners. I'm impressed."

About Steve:
Steve was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Steve's family is musical and his neighbourhood was rich in musical talent. His next door neighbour was Duane Pond of The Diamond Trio and the legendary Aubrey Hanson lived nearby.
Referred to as an "acclaimed veteran vocalist" by longtime Saint John music columnists - Gerry Taylor. Steve's first public performance was at the age of 12 at the Orange Hall in Durham Bridge. From there Steve performed in and around the Fredericton, Boiestown and Doaktown areas. After graduating Fredericton High and Moncton Community College. Steve moved to Saint John where he performed with many local country acts in and around the greater Saint John area and other areas of New Brunswick. Steve then formed the Highway 40 Blues country band which was popular in the area for many years. Steve then joined the Lost Highway band where he has performed for the last 18 years.
In 2006 Steve released his first solo CD "Hurtn' On Old Memories" with six original compositions included on this self titled CD (Steve Lyons). His music was met with good reviews and he has had good success with his original compositions. "Just Can't Face the Truth" was selected for a Canadian promotional compilation CD with TEASouth. Steve continues to write, record and produce his music and has another CD project underway.
