Terrell L. Taylor
Psalmist/Minstrel/Producer/Songwriter

Terrell L. Taylor is a musician who understands versatility. He is a producer, composer, and arranger who holds degrees in both music (B.A.) and theology (M. Div.). Mr. Taylor is currently the Music and Fine Arts Pastor at The Assembly of God Tabernacle in Decatur, GA. He is president of T.N.T. Ministries Inc., and founder of Baw-Raw Productions (a music production company).

Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, Terrell grew up in a family of musicians. His father played the organ, mother and sister sang, and older brother played the drums. At the age of 5, Terrell developed an interest in the piano and at the age of 12 began playing for local churches. While attending junior high school, he played the tenor sax for the concert and jazz bands. In 1984 he received honors and was named in the Academic All-American Scholar Program, and was a principal character for âGreat Yearâ, a national commercial for McDonaldâs which aired for five consecutive years in the U.S. and Canada.

Terrell Taylorâs ministry has taken him to South America, Europe, the Caribbean Islands, and half of the Continental United States. He has been blessed to preach, teach, lecture, and lead worship to in several Christian denominations and churches.

To date, Terrell has performed with the worldâs most prolific musicians and singers including many national award winners â Donnie McClurkin, Israel Houghton, Aaron Lindsey, Darlene Zschech, Carlton Pearson and the Higher Dimensions Choir, Richard Roberts, Darrell Evans, Phil Driscoll, Steve Brock, Kim Burrell, Candi Staton, etc. He has also played and/or sang for numerous churches, choirs, groups, and jazz bands. Mr. Taylor has released several independent music projects such as âYouth on Fireâ (1989âContemporary Christian), âSozoâ (1999âPiano Instrumental), âOvercomers By the Bloodâ (2003âYouth Urban Praise and Worship), âI See Nationsâ (2004âPraise and Worship Pre-Release), âKeys of Lifeâ (2005âPiano Instrumental), and âLet Us Worship: The Live Experienceâ (Dec. 2007) his most recent live praise and worship recording. He has produced and/or arranged several independent projects and one nationally distributed recording on Mustard Seed Records. He is a prolific songwriter and has written/co-written over 200 songs with several nationally released songs (Mustard Seed Records âThe Wynnsâ 1994, Atlantic/Azusa Music Group âAzusa Praiseâ 2000).

Terrell's musical influences include, Israel Houghton and New Breed, Kirk Franklin, George Duke, Keith Thomas, Marvin Winans, Leon Patillo, Michael Brooks, Fred Hammond, The Hawkins Family, John Tesh, Bill Evans, Ben Tankard and many others.

Mr. Taylor presently resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia where is happily married to Tara Taylor of ten years. They are both graduates of Oral Roberts University and have been blessed with two wonderful sons Trevor and Travis ages 9 and 6.

Terrell L. Taylor is a musician who knows diversity and communicates his art by way of his heart. He is a modern minstrel and psalmist, anointed with the Holy Spirit to bring healing and restoration too many generations.
