Vans interest for noises started at the age of 3 years, when Vans mum recognized that his ears seemed to catch every noise even if far away. So she gave him a little yellow plastic recorder and Van started to record everything that seemed interesting for him. Later on in shool his intrest for computer-aided music started to grow.

First footsteps on music were done on a sample based 4track music porgram called noisetracker (commodore amiga). After his first label contract at PCP (Planet Core Productions) in 1993 his passion for making own music exploded. But Van also studied mechanical engineering at this time and was not sure to leave this "safe" playing game. Years passed off but the dream for making a living by music came through over and over again.

His style of music changed parallel with his musical growth from Hardcore-Techno, Techno, Trance to House and Lounge. His music is inspired by daily life emotions.

2007 Van leaves his safe playing game and starts to live his dream. The dream of Continental Flavour :-)
