If you ask my granny how long I've been singing she will tell you that it started at the age of one. By the time I was four years old I was singing solos in the church choir and that's when my passion for music was aroused. I was the nerd in school who signed up for the choir class every year. In high school I was participating in many solo competitions, choir ensembles, and talent shows. It was listening to Mariah Carey's "Daydream" album that inspired me to start writing my own songs. After high school I started recording my own songs and really got to taking it more seriously as i developed my own style of singing and writing. Some of the popular talent competitions that are on tv I've auditioned for and am not sad that I didn't make it because they have no depth to them in my eyes. I've participated in a musical called "Once on this Island" as Tonton and in December of 2004 I participated in my first opera called "Pirates of the Penzance" as the cruel Fred'ric. My goal is to be a revolutionary in the recording industry. My Musical influences are Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, George Michael, and many others who sing and write good meaningful songs.
