Dynamic, a San Francisco Bay Area group, represents the newest breed of young musical titans who fuse genres, molding hybrid sounds into the new millennium timescape. Dynamic started at Cal State Hayward as a progressive Jazz group of some repute, but that was just the beginning. Dynamic merged briefly with the East Bay Hip Hop crew, Urban Icon, to form Urban Dynamic, emerging with a Hip Hop flavor which enhanced their Jazz and pop sensibilities. This mighty incarnated quartet entertains with finely crafted songs and a high octane energized performance that leaves the crowd hungry for more.

Credits: Dan, a master instrumentalist, has performed with Jazz legends Michael Breccker, James Moody, Conrad Herwig, Maria Schneider, Louie Belson, and Peter Erskine. He has toured and recorded with Concord Records recording artist Michael Feinstein and has performed on Rosemary Clooney's 2002 Grammy nominated album.
Education: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Composition from Cal State University, Hayward.

Electric Keyboards, Acoustic Piano, Drums: Colin Hogan
Credits: Colin, a gifted keyboardist and composer, has played with Conpanna, winner of the Bay Area Battle of the Bands, 2002, World beat band Omaya, the legendary Larry Graham band, Hip Hop rave the Prophets of Rage. Colin is a graduate of Berkeley High School which is home to many famous Jazz artists.
Education: Fourth year music major at California State University, Hayward.

Drums, Vocals, Lyricist: Darian P. Gray
Credits: Darian, a triple threat, brings Hip Hop chops and a wealth of Bay Area band experience from the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, the funky folk Jazz of Jack West & Curvature, the fusion of R.L.T., and the artistry of Black Native.
Education: Part-time student, music department, California State University, Hayward.

Vocalist, Lyricist, Composer: Shawn Oliver
Credit: Shawn is the newest member and the front man, formerly of the Hip Hop crew Urban Icon. Shawn brings style and free flow chops. Shawn is considered one of the best emcees in the San Francisco Bay Area. A natural performer, Shawn's antics on stage move the audience to party in Dynamic fashion.
