Gestated in 1992 in Columbus, Ohio, Earwig has won over its share of fans, critics and industry insiders. The band's full-length debut, 1994's 'Mayfeeder,' has sold roughly 2,000 copies, and the live follow-up, 'Bored in Chicago,' has done equally well.
While supporting 'Mayfeeder,' Earwig toured extensively nationwide, infecting fans across the country with their big hooks, melodic guitars and lyrical tales of the broken-hearted.
In addition to several online publications, radio stations and fanzines, including the popular Compuserve site, Earwig was featured in Entertainment Weekly as being part of the next big music scene.
Leaping back into the studio with the help of multi-platinum producer Jared Kotler (Marcy Playground) and their own Lizard Family Music label, Earwig has recently released another pop masterpiece, 'Perfect Past Tense,' that will continue leading the band on its way to the top.
