Isa.61- Psalms 40 -Born to a family that loves music, I was blessed to receive my early training from my mother who was the church pianist and my father who was the associate pastor at a small church in Gary, Ind., NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH.My first song in front of a congregation was at three. The song was 'Jesus Loves Me'.The words to this song took me through many trials and tribulations; through my dark days and times of disobiedence.I have found out that Jesus Christ and my family loves me.My brothers Mickey and Carl with sister Andrea,even in my mess,loved me. I am glad that I came back to the Lord through Andre' Crouch. And my music was influenced by him and his music. Being with him and in his congregation (CMC) gave me the opportunity to begin my purpose of God's calling in my spiritual walk and purpose in music.My music was influenced by my mother and my aunts and father and grandmother and those who prayed for me and with me. I hid in my heart the knowledge ,when I was young ,that Jesus loves me.My spiritual walk has now led me to a ministry in the Spoken Word and music. I am blessed to work with an anointed group of people as we go out to different churches and venues (internet) to minister in word and song.We of WLM are about winning SOULS, SOULS AND MORE SOUL for Jesus Christ. Using the concert formula ,we of WLM ask God to use us as we plant the seed of the gospel and we step aside and watch the Holy spirit touch those who need healing and those who need to be set free(Isa. 61).Leading people to Christ is what we have been commisioned to do and I take my calling seriously, in spirit and in truth. If you talk the talk you must walk the walk. You can hide it from others but you can not hide from God.I learned that Jesus loves me even when I didn't love myself.I am glad that this song was taught to me and now I wish that others would know this, also. I teach this to those that are around me, Jesus loves you.I will not comprimize the gospel of Jesus Christ. With this I have compiled a collection of songs.
