Details:
Born in Berlin in 1979 and still living there, I play different instruments: sitar, piano, drums, jews harp, xylophon and bass. I am influenced by classical indian music, jazz, funk, european classical music, trance, world-music and also rock-music.
I took part in different bands and record in my homestudio (overdub-method) with pro tools (program) since 2001.
I have made a technical education as audio engineer at the SAE-Collage in Berlin.
Now I earn my money as part-time social worker (diploma) Sometimes I have sitar-concerts (solo or with a tabla-player).
I got inspired on two journeys to india.
This CD is a compilation (2004-2007) of all my sitar-songs I recorded at home - an east-west-fusion CD, spiritual and psychedelic.
Everything is played and produced by me (Constantin Borngesser), exceptions are marked.

7. Sarasvatis Dream (03/2006)- Sarasvati (also called Parvati) is an indian godess for music, she rides on a swan and sleepes after her return... with sitar, tabla (by Robert Mai), bass and percussion. (4/4) 4:36

10. Alaap Rupali (12/2006)- a solo sitar song, only with automatic tanpura and my voice- very relaxing & meditativ. Alaap is the first part (without metrum) of a raga (classical north-indian music)
