A message from Japanese indie rock artists Aya and Masaki, of the New York based band, FiRESiGN:

"2007 was a good year for us, as it saw the completion of our first LP project, "Anger Management", but as with all good things, 2007 has come to an end. So, as we leave the past year behind, we reflect on all that we have accomplished, as well as on those goals we have yet to achieve. We remember, that New Year's is a time of transition when our souls shine brightly, like candles in the night, "beating back the darkness, as we break into the future."

In celebration of this spirit of transition, FiRESiGN has authorized the January 1st, 2008 release of the bootleg CD single, "Hammering the Way Out." Produced in low-budget fashion, each disc is adorned with its own hand-applied, ink-jet printed label and cover art. The CD's title track is a song of anger and alchemy as lead-vocalist, Aya tells a tale of transmutation; wherein she discovers the art of metamorphosis, turning years of accumulated external negative energy into fuel to feed the fire of her determination.

The bonus track, "Stigma", shines the light of that fire directly onto those shadow skulking, darkness dwellers and exposes them for the toxic talking thieves of time that they are. (Kudos to those of you who can say that three times fast. _)
