Joel Goldstein,"aka "the singing dentist" has been writing songs since his Queens College,NYC days when he wrote and performed with Paul Simon at fraternity gigs(AEPi).He has 7 CDs on CD baby and his latest,"Spirit Am I" is a cmpilation of inspirational songs delivering the message of Unity Churches,A Course in Miracles, and just plain common sense.Child of Eternity(Happy Birthday Jesus)is on the new CD and was recorded first over 30 years ago on Long Island,NY.by Buddy Miller's band St.Elmo's Fire.It was published by Gene Goodman(Regent Music,NYC),Benny's brother and is destined to be a classic in this genre.
Joel believes that the free-wheeling ,non-judgemental line of spirituality which acknowledges us all as God's perfect children and co-creators with God in creating "heaven on earth" as professed by his friends Barbara Marx Hubbard,Michael Ryce,Stephen Gaskin,Werner Erhard,and many others will become the way of the world and his music reflects this sentiment.
With the support of the harmonies of his singing partner Christina Dellea with whom he records as "Us Too" his CD is alive clean,clear and most inspiring.
Joel now has a home in Summertown Tenn. close to The Farm and he and his wife Betty are committed to the green life of sustainability,permaculture and alternative energies.He performs at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville with the "Words and Music"program and loves the life he lives.
