An amazing idea. The drummer is talking about Ron Paul and how he could make a difference while breaking up the monopoly that the ruling class has on everything. Many other things as well. Then he says, "Let's help him out by making a song for him." I think, "Yeah, that is a good idea!". But then it becomes apparent that the New Hampshire primary is VERY soon. (funny how the powers that be cut out Ron Paul out of the debates as well as Kucinich on the other side. Perhaps democracy is fixed in this country?)

This is one of the most important ones because it has the potential to set in motion a sense of electability despite the deep skepticism among most people. We add in the difficulty of making a video ass well!!

Now we have to put an entire CD together in a short period of time. I guess this means 18 hour days for quite a while. Next, the guy who says he is going to take care of the video says he DOESN'T have a camera. That costs a few more days. Now we have to do our own filming, learn editing while recording and mastering a ton of minutes. Fortunately there are some older tracks kicking around that need to be freshened up that help the load.

Well, it is always more work than you would think even then. Finally all of the physical gets out the door. (We have to scrap Salta and Commodity Bull because they just aren't in shape enough, but that is good because they fit better into the next project).

Desperate, a song that was written around the Kosovo mess, will have some of the questions raised musically and texturally answered in a later project that attends to the implications.

Book 'o' Virtues was inspired by events in the 80s. Probably no one remembers them but hopefully they will connect to the bigger picture which is timeless.
