Laketha Southern is the daughter of Pastor Ella J. Baker,Deacon Robert Baker, and Robert Odom.
Laketha Southern was born in Rowland North Carolina on July 26,1974.

Laketha is the proud mother of three children Amyra Southern, Ashanti Ratley,and Syn'Cere Southern."I love all you and it is becasue of you I live."Laketha has been singing for quite some time. She sang in a group called the Gospel Angels of Rowland North Carolina, Quartet group called Bryon and Company in Christ,and her school choir(South Robeson High School).

Laketha was introduced to Mr.Tyrone Hallman by her brother Robert and then it was no return after that.
Tyrone introduced Laketha to Kelvin Smith of Smith Brothers Records in Florence S.C

Laketh's first prodject "I Can't live" did very well selling about 500 copies.Upon release of her single Laketha sang in many places, and made many apperances, some such as The annual Birthday Celebration for Lady "G" of 107.7.
The current prodject "Unconditinal Love" is all about my life.I have gone through so much and god has still been there for me. God has shown me that he will be there when everone else walks out and leaves you.
