Acoustic guitar with subtle sound effects and the voice of a young man.

ROCK: Acoustic, ELECTRONIC: Ambient
Details:
I've always been called Eddie, a nickname given farther back than my memory can take me. Born in New York where most of my family resides, I lived there for 5 years until mom decided to trek to Texas for a change. Raised in Austin, the self-proclaimed "Live Music Capital of the World" I took an exceptionally big interest in music of all sorts. A lot of bucks went into CD's and shows and eventually, mom got me a guitar. A couple years down the bumpy road I had managed to gain confidence in my playing and started making songs. Patchwork is the result of tunes I formed over my senior year in High School as well as my freshman year of College in San Antonio. It's literally a patchwork because I attempted to make it all cohesive by using my old acoustic guitar in conjunction with ambient sounds and weaving a couple songs together as the album spins. The album was recorded in my dorm with limited equipment and mixed and mastered in a studio to bring a crispy clear representation of a young man singing and playing it up in his recorded musical beginnings. For early news, my next music project will involve more musicians with a more professional recording. For Patchwork's release I decided to dig up my real official name buried over the years as my musical identification, Edgar. So there we have it, Patchwork by Edgar. I hope it tickles your ears.
