If you ask any hip hop lover in Detroit who is hot and got the streets blazing most likely they'll say Made West Ent. Founded by CEO/Artist Dutch Maddog in 2001, not long after he was joined by Dirty, Helluva, and Gunsmoke who shared his same vision and invested their finances, blood, sweat, and tears.

The fact that they all were well known and popular in the streets of Detroit, helped their debut. Made West started getting people to recognize their had talent and were not just another group putting out CDs, not studying or having respect for the craft. They want to put music out that touches real issues and real people.

Made West began like many hip hop companies- by passing out mix cds at all-star basketball events and other hip hop functions across the country, at the same time throwing parties in their hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

Made West's fan base is growing with the help of urban radio stations supporting their music. Now with their newfound success and great sales of their CD "We Here Now! Vol. 1 - The Compilation", they still focus on uniting and working with other talented artists from Detroit.

Dutch says, "You look at the charts- it's 20 Atlanta artists holding spots down and all of them are making good music and deserve that success, so there's no reason we can't do the same. Real recognize real, we got to put the street mentality behind us and connect, and share a common goal
