I started writing songs about three years ago but only began singing publicly in the summer of 2007 after much prodding by my friends. I was surprised at the reaction of people to my music. It not only is accepted and enjoyed by the young adults but also by middle aged folkies. I would call myself first a lyricist then a singer/musician. This album "Piece The Picture" is mostly acoustic because I find acoustic music more pure and more "to the heart" than wailing electronics. The disc cracked the top 10 on the charts for its genre on some stations in Alberta, Canada. I hope to be playing some folkfest in Western Canada in the summer of 2008. If you like what you hear leave me a message and I may come to your town to play. I am presently a featured artist in the Under-22 Songwriters' Circle on CKUA radio in Alberta. When we recorded the album we left in all the minor imperfections to give it a "live" sound. I hope you enjoy the variety of songs. I enjoy music and that is why I play a variety of genres. Sometimes I have a English accent when I sing. Must be genetic because I'm Canadian, eh! My songs are filled with a wide range of emotions because I believe that emotionless art is not art.
