I write songs that I'd like to hear .For example,we all know that advertizing is continually shaping our minds,desires,and goals,but its not all bad so,what the heck,just go with it! That's partly what "Coca Cola Moon" is about.I'm not sure if the world's ready for "Family Trees"but at any rate ,it's just an observation. Have you ever had somebody's image stuck in your brain and you can't get it out no way no how?Of course you have.That's what "Desert Dream" and "The Isle of Tattoo" remind you of... My musical roots are ragtime(my dad,s music),rock,folk,and country in that order.I,ve been playing the guitar and other instruments since I was a kid.I feel like every song should have a romantic angle of some sort and an interesting slant,together with a kick-butt melody and beat.Then, mix in alittle rock,folk,etc. What ever it takes to make it fly.Once in awhile ,I,ll even throw in alittle Sci-Fi. Frank Clark and Bob Milsap helped me bring these songs to life,which is much appreciated.I,m married to a beautiful woman and we have one grown son.Your's Truely, Ed Clark
