Robert Shields and wife, Anna, owners of Glory Train Records, the largest Gospel to radio label in the world and Hill Topper Music Group, for the past 15 years have been helping other artist reach their dreams by getting the artist exposure In the USA and Around the World.
Robert has loved all types of music since he was old enough to turn on the radio. Robert was born In the nation's capital Washington DC and as a child hit the streets at the age of 7, raising himself with no parents because of an abusive stepfather. In his nightly quest for food & shelter, park benches and alley ways, Robert always seemed to find someone who had a guitar he could play. The song "Children Of The Street" reflects Robert's childhood and so many other kids that the world is not aware of and was released World-Wide to bring awareness to these kids all over the world. Later on Robert began writing country music and singing in nightclubs around Maryland and Washington DC. As a young teenager Robert performed with Jimmey Dean, Roy Clark, Patsy Cline, Stoneman Family and others in and around the nation's capital
Robert never seemed to get any satisfaction out of his music until he met the Lord. In 1989 upon moving to Tennessee, Robert's life changed dramatically. First by meeting his wonderful wife, Anna, who made It a point to introduce Robert to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Robert's life changed and so did his music. Robert sold many albums through tour's and bookings and except for radio never until now has put his songs out to the public world wide. His hope is that one of the messages he writes about Jesus and the Father will help change someone's life and uplift and encourage them to seek more of the understanding, peace and love that comes with accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Robert's wish Is to continue to help other artist get the exposure they need to spread the Good News World Wide.
