The Give originates from Fairfield County, CT.
The band was first formed in 2002 by Jon Saxon (songwriter, guitarist) and Don Cohen (poet, lyricist & therapist). They are the catalyst for much of The Give's thought provoking music.
Jon and Don needed great vocals and melodies to deliver their songs and the group gelled when Sarah Peterson joined in 2006. She brings emotion, unique harmonies, and memorable melodies to the music.
A local "indie" favorite in local clubs and bars, The Give is not complete without drummer Jeff Owens, bassist Dan Berg, and lead guitarist Dave Ross when playing live.
The current cd released on CD Baby and iTunes is the group's first. It is an acoustic collection that we think you will find unique.
The Give is available for live shows.
