I loved this song the first day I heard it on Carl's 1973 album "My Kind Of Country" which I'd managed to get a cassette of in Singapore. I suppose the song is a constant reminder also of the "Fairstar" & Pamela, the girl who went home to Cairns instead of coming back to me!
