Details:
When I was creating this I had just got back to playing the electric guitar after a long absence and it is a heavier, darker outing than Bleep, Whirr, Disco! The actual title track Dance of the Zombies is very like 80's band 'The The' maybe. It's about life as a stagehand aboard a Royal Caribbean cruiseliner. The Zombies are perhaps those over 60's on the cruise and relates in some ways to some crew members who were completely in a little clique like society, lovvies of the theatre type. I definitely didn't fit in and had no desire to bow to Americana. In other words, my roommate was an arsehole. Additionally it's about people moving to capital cities and forgetting where they came from. I talk in particular about those who migrate to London and try hard to forget that they had a life before that or get so caught up in the rat race that they forget themselves and become absorbed by the greed.

Do Ya Punk? got it's opening line from Dirty Harry movies and is about an old acquaintance who made it in music. Additionally it's my view at the stage as an onlooking roadie, seeing that lifestyle and what it's about, or why it's not all it's cracked up to be.

Love Machine was a result of listening to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and the lyrics are just about feeling randy!

Stranger is a little cowboy like ditty about relationships with a girl who was your all, and watch them become miles away both in distance and emotion.

This album rocks more than it's sister and was fun to make as it only took a month or so. It tied up a very creative spell at the end of Bleep, Whirr Disco!

Enjoy
