This album has two very modern rock songs, namely, âGraceful Exitâ and âWelcome.â The title tune should not be described for the listener, it should be interpreted by the listener so that each listener can make it his or her own according to their own tastes and their own experiences. If the author tries to impose his own views, he only sets limits to the song that are better left unsaid. âWelcome (Muchas Gracias)â details the historical reality of the immigrant entry of people into the United States. Many of the first immigrants from Central and South America were brought here at the invitation of the United States Government to replace the labor lost by the U.S. entry into World War II. If you donât believe this assertion is true, look it up for yourself. Look under the Bracero program. Iâm afraid that the author/arranger is often the least qualified to decide what take is the most widely embraced by the public. âBiker Rockâ is a straight-ahead rock tune designed to get on the highway and jam on down the road. âFifth Avenueâ is a tip of the retro-hat to the love ballads of the late 50s/early 60s. âThe Bestâ is a tribute to all the mechanics of the world that keep the world going. âLelah J.â and âThe Endâ are instrumentals designed to highlight two kinds of love, a soft kind of love and hard passionate love. Each existing in its own time and place.
