Alumni Singers History:

Started in St Petersburg Florida in 1980, this interdenominational group includes alumni from high school and college choirs from across the country. Their music performances reflect, and are a part of, the rich musical heritage of the African-American experience. The Alumni Singerâs primary purpose is to preserve this heritage and to promote cultural enrichment. Their concerts include the splendid melodious sounds of spirituals, gospel, hymns, anthems, and secular/popular selections.
