Drawing on influences from the canon of American rock, and at the same time expanding on them, this is a collection of tunes that will resonate with anyone who has spun the wheel and played the high-stakes game of love. The churning butterflies, the addictive smack of new romance, the rush of the first touch, the crushing blow of disappointment, and the re-building of a broken heart.

Taken together, these songs weave a story we all have lived. Yet each also stands on its own, swooping from the blistering rock of Why Canât We Just Be Friends (that sleep together...)? to the quiet longing of Wrong, each song shines like a facet of our human experience.

Lovesong Roulette freely ranges through influences from Wilco to R.E.M., from Neil Young to Nick Drake; yet these influences only serve as touchstones as Glaros puts his own unique twist on these iconic styles, expertly weaving them together into a tapestry-like collection of song and story.

Several of the tracks were recorded in Minneapolis at The Rose Room with Michael Ferrier (Electropolis, Fire Under Water, Improvised Explosive Device), who brought his penchant for experimentation to the sessions, infusing those tracks with an air of lightness and a crystalline soundscape. The rock band sessions, complete with a rhythm section made up of Greg Schutte on drums and Brian Roessler on bass, were recorded at the legendary Third Ear studio.

Add in the string work by Jacqueline Ferrier-Ultan (cello) and Zack Kline (fiddle and mandolin), and a fantastic mix by Neverwas, and what you end up with is an album that will stick with you and reward repeat listens.
