She tours full-time, performing her unique blend of folk rock music at more than 150 concerts each year. Ellis has a total of six full-length CDs her credit, four solo and two with her former band Bobby Llama (voted Best Unsigned Band in America in 2000). Ellis runs her own indie record company, and recently coordinated an all-benefit compilation CD of women's voices for peace (www.peacecd.com). Her recently released solo album TIGERS ABOVE, TIGERS BELOW was described as "a sobering work of folk rock beauty" (Local Planet) and has received significant airtime on radio stations across the country as well as rave reviews in dozens of publications. She has independently sold more than 25,000 copies of her albums and has a mailing list of several thousand across the US.
