"Breakfast In The Sunroom" is a beautiful blend of acoustic instrumental and vocal styling that takes the listener on a joyous musical journey.

For years we have heard the call for an all-acoustic effort from Christopher. Wait no longer! You will be taken in from the opening instrumental track "Intimate Encounter" to a masterful re-make of Yes' song "Your Move / All Good People" to the closing meditation of "One Day The Father."

If you're already a fan, this effort has been long anticipated. If you are just climbing on board you will soon be singing "... so satisfied, Iâm on my way!"

Christopher's dynamic vocals, guitar playing, and thought provoking lyrics have earned him the praise of many local fans, and the recognition of his peers.

With a growing list of musical accomplishments and CD releases under his belt, including an ASCAPlus award in 2006, he continues to grow as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, performer, and producer.

Whether performing for 17,000 people at a venue like the Hollywood Bowl, or in an intimate coffee house, it is not uncommon to see Christopher playing along side a whoâs who list of musicians.

Especially now with the availability of websites like YouTube, Christopher can be seen anytime playing with the likes of GRAMMY winner and consummate guitarist Laurence Juber, or ukulele master Jake Shimabukuro.

In addition, he has performed or shared billing with many other noted national and local acts. A selective list includes: The Kingston Trio, Jars of Clay, Anna Nalick (whom he groomed for major label signing), Oz Fox and Tim Gaines of Stryper, Shane Fontayne, Mark Schulman, and Robert Deeble.

Christopher says his musical journey started like many others. âA childhood friend wanted to start a rock band. He said, âIâll play drums.â So, I said, âO.K., Iâll play guitarâ.â And so it formally began.

However, it didnât really start there. Christopher was born to be a musician. His father, Jerry Burgan co-founded 1965 GRAMMY nominated WE FIVE (San Francisco Sound âYou Were On My Mindâ âLetâs Get Togetherâ and âSomewhere Beyond The Seaâ) with his own childhood friend, and later music industry legend, Michael Stewart.

Their concept was to take musical styles that seemed too different to work together, and create a fresh hybrid of new sounds. The term âFolk Rockâ soon came to be associated with them and their contemporaries.

Ultimately, that very concept became the foundation for how Christopher began to choose his own preferences. âNo matter what style of music I happen to be listening to, if itâs made with excellence, I know that there is excellence to be learned from it,â states Burgan.

Obviously these were lessons well learned. With influences ranging from Jimmy Rogers to Rush, or Kiss to Laurence Juber, Burganâs multi-genreâ influences have etched deep marks in him as a musician.

Now a multi instrumentalist, Christopher began sitting in on guitar with WE FIVE in 1986, and ultimately became their full time lead guitarist, mandolin player, and sometime drummer in 1998.

This blessing of musical heritage has offered Burgan many unique opportunities to soak in the musical sounds of his parents and their contemporaries while on tour as a child, as well as enjoy his current position on stage right along side them with a Rickenbacker or Martin in hand.

Likewise, as a solo artist his hybrid approach to playing guitar has earned him the reputation as a player that must be seen and heard to be believed.

Born in San Francisco, California in 1966, and currently living in the greater Los Angeles area, Christopher continues to record and perform regularly in WE FIVE, as a solo artist, as a side man, and produce independent acts.
