Colin is an Australian worship artist who has a real desire to draw people closer to God through his music.

Colin has been involved in speaking and worship leading at various conferences and events throughout Australia and overseas for the past 14 years. As well as bringing practical training to those involved in worship ministry he believes in the power of music to bring emotional healing and encouragement.

Colin has had worship songs recorded and released in the US and Europe including songs with Youth Alive, a contemporary Christian youth movement, Hillsong Music and Rebecca St James' band, Fusebox.

Work of Art: Debut Solo Album
This album reflects a very personal journey for me; a journey of re-discovering Godâs grace in my own life. Sometimes we feel that God has dished out the wrong âscriptâ for our life; weâre reading someone elseâs lines, this shouldnât be happening to me! God would never allow this âstuffâ to happen to me or make me suffer in this way!

It is easy to feel discouraged when life seems hard or unfair and God seems distant. Many of these songs have been birthed out of very real and very painful life experiences that have touched not only my life but the lives of those closest to me. We donât always understand why things happen to us. There are many things that we feel helpless to explain and can find no easy spiritual answers for. Yet when we most feel like âgiving upâ Godâs mercy calls each of us to âgive overâ to Him. He urges us to trust him again and to place our life in His hands. It seems that in those desperate times we are confronted by a greater need than to have our problems âfixedâ or our suffering removed; the need to be near Him and to move closer to His heart.

Just as an artist has in mind the finished work of art, God sees in each of us the Christ life; His âwork of artâ that he wants to perfect. He knows that the thing that we see as unfair or unjust is the very thing that will enable Him to do His âbest workâ in our lives. As we allow the power of Godâs grace and love to transform our hearts we ultimately give God the greatest glory and the sweetest worship.

I pray that this album will draw you deeper into Godâs heart and that you will be able to see Godâs amazing artistry at work in your life.
