ODYSSEY is defined as:

- a long wandering or voyage usually marked by many changes in fortune.

- an intellectual or spiritual wandering or quest.

From "sin to sent".

God does not deal with me in words and music alone; He deals with me in concepts also. This CD is called "Odyssey" because it represents the voyage from sinner to being sent by God to GO and be great and inspire others to be great! This is a 360-degree odyssey of transitioning from living under our divine potential because of sin, discovering the greatness inside of us because of Christ, and then reaching back into what we were delivered from and helping others out of sin and into greatness.

The journey begins with a place packed with a "STANDING ROOM" Only crowd who unexpectedly has a run-in with Christ at the most unlikely places and He states, "YOU BUMPED INTO ME". It parallels the story of the woman at the well and Paul on the road to Damascus. The voyage takes you through the ups, downs, and "UNCERTAINTIES OF LIFE", only to find that it is by the mercy of God that we survive and so we become "GLAD ABOUT YOUR MERCY". Because of hope, we begin to encourage ourselves and declare "I'LL FLY AGAIN". It is then that we realize that Christ is "THE ANSWER" to all of our questions in life.

At this turning point you're asked "ARE YOU SAVED?", because salvation brings on our new beginning and the knowledge that we need God directing our lives. Once we are saved we give our will over to God's will for us and "THE STRUGGLE ENDS IN SURRENDER". When the struggle is over, we are ready to be "DELIVERED" from the things that hold us down and keep us from our destiny and joy in living. We now begin to feel that we are on our way into becoming someone that God can use so we answer God's question in Isaiah 6:8 with "SEND ME, I'll go". But before we are ready to go, we must develop more of a relationship with Christ so we can hear His voice and obey, feel His heart and love, and walk in the steps that He has ordered for us. So we ask God to "HIDE ME".

It is at this point that we begin to understand that we are designed by God and that there is so much more to us than what we thought. We realize that we are wonderfully made and anything God does "HE DOES IT WELL" (Psalms 139). This knowledge awakens the "GREATNESS INSIDE" of us and we proclaim to God and ourselves that "I WANT TO BE GREATER!" I want to give more than I receive, I want to be someone's miracle, I want to help others be greater, I want to lead others into their greatness through a relationship with Christ. I want to GO and get someone else. SEND ME!!!!!!!
