Powerpop, rock with a jangly 12-string Rickenbacker sound that brings to mind solid-Tom Petty heart and soul and the melodic-sense of Teenage Fanclub.

Details:
Eric Marcos and Normal Noises were from Boston, but now rock in Santa Monica, CA. This is their second release, which is called "disposable friend". The album features melodic pop/rock.

The tracks, "Kickback Turn Around" and "Poor Little Girl" appear in an upcoming short film called "Liars". Look for the film playing at your favorite film festivals now!

Steve Duchardt (Normal Noises' guitarist)rips one of his signature solo's on "Kickback Turn Around". Meanwhile, "Poor Little Girl" features a tasty solo by Ed Lyons (also of Normal Noises anf co-founding member.)

Review of "disposable friend":
"The long awaited follow-up disc from Eric and his band features support from most of the Boston music scene, including Bill Janovitz [of Buffalo Tom], Todd Thibaud, Mike Gent (The Figgs [and The Gentlemen]) and many others. But all I can say is this one helluva power parade of pumping pop with balls!

A few of you may remember a band from LA called Code Blue, a few songs on this fabulous debut remind me of that band, at the their best. But, generally, what the Boston Globe says below is dead-on...they sound like early Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers. Its just a tour-de-force of rock n roll spirit---what a blast this must have been to make? That energy and vibe is on full display here, thats for sure. Extremely Highly Recommended!", from NotLame.com.
