Sheltering Wind, Produced by Mitch Weiss and mastered by John Golden, is Emily's first full length CD.

A songwriter/musician who plays guitar and piano, Emily Sanders has written songs as long as she can remember. Her music's themes of friendship, faith, hope, and redemption make her music both accessible and exciting.

Originally from Maryland, Emily moved to California in the 1970's and has been there ever since. She writes both music and lyrics.

As an active member of the 26,000 member Just Plain Folks songwriting organization, Emily met Nashville writer Bobbie Gallup, with whom she is currently collaborating.

Emily is also a regular performer with the nationally-acclaimed Angel City Chorale, a 120-member choir in Los Angeles, which is directed by Sue Fink. The choir performs many styles of music, including classical, gospel, pop, world music and folk music. They have performed live or on national television with such artists as Stevie Wonder, Michael Buble, Luther Vandross, Diane Reeves, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Monica Mancini and The American Tenors. The choir has released three CD's.
