The free melody, like a grain of sand, instrument of the wind, carried with the eagle, sculpting the face of silent stone, twisting through limbs of ancient pines, caught in rolling thunder, delivered to the earth with hail and lightning, flowing in pure waters, rising with scent of sweet juniper smoke, glowing in the starshine before dawn while the moon sets to the voice of the night.

ABOUT THOMAS,

Greetings! I was born on the east coast of Lithuanian descent and spent my childhood in Colorado. My first instrument was electric guitar then bass guitar which I played extensively throughout the Denver-Boulder area. At age seventeen I discovered violin and in the pursuit of self expression, went on to study at the University of Northern Colorado delving into violin, piano, voice and concert harp. While in college I was introduced to an eclectic palette of indigenous music, jazz, bluegrass and Neo-Classic composers such as Ralph Vaughan Williams. Along with the earthy, mountain music present in Colorado during that time, my musical palette broadened, with much of that influence evident in my work today.

Moving west from Colorado, I settled in Northern California and fell into the creative pool of musicians and artists forming in Sacramento at Exit Records. While there I released my first vinyl record and toured the states with the band Panacea playing an eclectic brand of rock. In the 1980âs I formed an independent music label, Range Of Light Music, releasing six original music CDâs. Through the years I have shared the stage with a wide array of musicians and traveled the nation performing original music at festivals and community venues. I currently live in North Western Nevada near beautiful Lake Tahoe. Along with pursuing music on a daily basis I create digital media works for a variety of businesses and the arts.

I consider a healthy whole being to be of utmost importance and spirituality a significant part of that being. One of his goals as an artist and musician is to share my talent with others and to encourage them to define and express their unique talents as well.
