The "Preacher" At an early age he knew something was different about him. He heard God talking to him. He would put on mini church meetings in the kitchen with the musical accompaniment of pots and pans. He would preach about Peter and the Boat and his more renowned sermons for the hungry entitled Peanut butter and Jelly. This "Preacher" whose given name is Johnathan which coincidentally means "Gift of God" was anointed and called at an early age. It has been spoken to him time and time over that he would preach at an early age. And preach is an understatement for this powerhouse of the Kingdom. He is an exceptional teacher, praise leader, choir director, minister,youth leader and the list goes on. Atop all of this he is an anointed and gifted preacher with a fresh, approach to the words given to him by God. And now to his list of credentials he has added songwriter and performer. He is a true worshiper of the Lord and his music is heartfelt and a reflection of what he was feeling or going through at the time. His songs are real uncovered emotions of a man after God's heart. His sound is unpredictable because of who he is yet there is a familiarity about it. And that is worship. This young man in his 24 years has grown tremendously so it is almost mind boggling. He seems to go through each and every trial that is placed in his life with a grace and strength that is supernatural. Yet he is still a man and still has to deal with being a human. Which is the inspiration behind the title of his first solo album PREACHER UNDER CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.
