Jud Vandy is 22 years old and has been recording his own music since he was 15. Picture Of The Sun is his attempt at creating a lush, colourful, alternative pop album.

Now heâs decided to go solo and with some very interesting results. His debut album, Picture Of The Sun, self-recorded on four-track, has just been released. This is sunshine slacker pop that recalls Syd Barret if he fronted an even more lackadaisical Dinosaur Jr. The title track sounds like Sebadoh with added bar-room piano while the rhythmic Jellybaby is as lysergic as prime-time Julian Cope.
