Over my years at JupiterFIRST Church, there have been many requests for me to record a CD of some of our most beloved praise and prayer songs. This new CD from the JupiterFIRST Singers will be available as of December 2nd. It was a real joy to create, truly a labor of love. Working with the Singers has been inspirational and I am deeply grateful for their talents. As I was finishing this project, I got to hear and rediscover these songs in many different ways. The more intimate times were the best - with a cup of coffee in one hand and a favorite book, devotional, or (best yet) the book of John from the Bible in the other - listening to it in my iPod while taking a walk through my neighborhood, and letting myself be in awe of nature and creation - or when driving in my car around town to calm and center myself in this sometimes-hectic world. My hope is that you will share this music with your friends and family that can only visit JupiterFIRST Church from time to time. My prayer is that in your listening, you will find its gift that is, by the grace of God, much greater than the sum of its parts⦠a space for the Spirit.
